In recent years i've noticed that what drew me to the WWE in the past over WCW isnt drawing me to watch Raw or Smackdown over TNA Impact. I mean really, where is the super match every night? Where are the twist endings that dont make you want to puke, (YES IM REFERRING TO VICKIE GUERERRO AND EDGE) where is the phenomenal Tag Team Wars and Fueds of the past? And quite frankly where are the groups? I mean hell no DX, No Nation of Domination, No Corporation, No Minestry, No Brood, No Hart Foudation, No New Breed, No nothing. La Familla is a god damn joke and you all know it. The Major Brothers who have no charisma or mic skillz what so ever, Chavo Guererro who seems to be the only one i would enjoy watch wrestle, His Goone Body Gaurd who is very Raw and still not sold that hes superstar material, Vickie Guererro who is every day tarnishing Eddie Guererro's name and memory, and Edge, A superstar whos in ring skillz have gone down hill as of late and whos storyline is leading him toward a brick wall of faluire. This is the only group we have? Now no question the amount of product being shown every weeks totals 5 + hrs and in that effect i tip my hat to those in charge of filling all the air time. But i feel like some of the best storylines, or best possible storylines arent even being touched. Shelton Benjamin and Kofi Kingston could be a house burner yet they cant even get on a PPV to prove it. Paul London and Brian Kendrick, 2 guys who held the WWE tag Team Championship for 11 months and really made Smackdown worth watching EVERY WEEK cant get anything other then a squash match on RAW and they are usually the team being Squashed. Cryme Tyme, a team with SO MUCH POPULARITY are reduced to stupid promos or dark matches no one ever sees. And whos are tag team champions???? BOB HOLLY and CODY RHODES?????? and MIZ and MORISSON????? WTF????? and when was the last time u saw both tag belts defended on the same show???

It seems funny that the things WWE did so well in the past is what they do so poor now. TNA features Motor City Machine Guns and/or LAX and someone in a long fantastic match EVERY WEEK and i cant get a decent tag match on RAW SMACKDOWN! or ECW. Finally the fact that The Undertaker was given such a poor title run, Edge given such a sickning and hard to watch storyline/title run, and such interesting stars such as D-Lo Brown and Ron The Truth Killings who are under WWE contract now are yet to make TV.

If the WWE wants to survive this TNA era of wrestling they must do 5 things.

#1 Look the the young talent to lift and carry shows. Feature matches with Elijak Burke, Kofi Kingston, Paul Burchill, Ken Kennedy, Umaga.

#2 All Shows need new GM's and a Diva shake up. Its time that we stop seeing Layla vs Kelly Kelly for the 50th time in a row. lets see all divas switch shows and on top of continuing storylines, become managers to new talent and talent in need of a boost in interest. I do think that creating 2 belts is a good idea but to some effect the divas need to become managers on top of wrestlers in my book

#3 Top Tier needs to change. We've scene all these matches before, guys like CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, Ken Kennedy, Umaga, Carlito and others to get a chance at the spot light. For a company to grow it must do just that, increase ability and space and allow others there shot at the spotlight.

#4 Faces and Heels need a couple to change places. John Cena and CM Punk could be so much more dynamic as heels, and i believe that Umaga, MVP, and Chavo could have a better run as a face. Trying out these ideas is all i would like to see. Trial and error.

#5 Finally Revamp your shows image. Stop emphazing on the world title. maybe for a ocuple moths make the Intercontinental Title the focus. Create a month long Tag Team Tourny, somthing new because Triple H, John Cena being the focus of RAW has gotten the ratings where they are today!!!

I cant believe no one here has even mentioned this, but yes in a matter of days the ROH and NWA titles will both be held by one man either Nigel McGuinness or Adam Pearce. Although pearce is under ROH contract his popularity outside of Sweet & Sour Inc. is being NWA World Champion for an amazing 297 days which means the day he faces McGuinness will be his 300th day. If Pearce is able to somehow become ROH and NWA World Champion, this would be one of the biggest accomplishments not only in his career but could possibly prove to beneficial to the NWA as a whole. BUT we all know Brent Albright is the rightful #1 contender for the NWA World Title no matter who wins the match which leads me to believe Pearce will hold on to his belt, due to the almost yr long storyline between the 2. Nigel McGuinness on the other hand has held the ROH 262 days, the 3rd longest reign in ROH history only behind Brian Danielson who held it for 462 days and Samoa Joe who held the belt for an amazing 645 days. McGuinness who has had so many battles as ROH Champion wrestles in other organizations but his main baby is ROH so i also find it hard to bvelieve ROH would let him lose the belt considering how great he is as their leader. COULD THIS MATCH END IN A DOUBLE DQ?????? YES!!!!!!!!!!!! and i imagine it probably will but setting up some sort of NWA invasion would be an awesome idea for ROH. As a fan, most of the ROH guys do work in some shape or form with other indy promotions including NWA so it would be easy to set up and fun to watch. Do i think Adam Pearce will win, its hard to say but if either of them is to win the others belt i would assume Adam would win the ROH World Championship because he is under ROH contract and has been at ROH shows, McGuinness would be a deserving NWA champ but he doesnt attend NWA shows to my knowledge, nor does he participate in NWA Showcase on Colours TV.  SO I guess the only way to find out what happens is to be in Dayton Ohio and watch, or wait for them to air the event. Either way we will know the outcome in a few days so go to www.ROHwrestling.com to find out more.

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of ECW Superstars Stevie Richards and Colin Delaney, Raw tag team Robbie & Rory of The Highlanders, SmackDown Diva Cherry, and WWE referee Wes Adams as of Aug. 15, 2008. WWE wishes them the best in all their future endeavors.

Funny thing is that Cherry's storyline was interesting until the draft, Colins was never interesting and his red and black trunks always made me shake my head.Stevie Richards surgery killed any chance of sucess and the same goes with the Highlanders...As for the ref, he is a drug addict with a gambling problem....Do i have any problem with the firings??? not really, do i think this opens the door for FCW talents to move up? Yes, do they need to be entertaining to stay on? yes, AND whos next? Well if we go by low ratings during segments: Chuck Palumbo, Carlito, Lena Yada, Ricky Ortiz, Snitsky, and Great Kahli.....we shall wait and see

Yes, still nothing confirmed, no contract signed but Sid Vicious claims to be returning to the WWE in September, with a possible in ring return being in late October. Would be the pinicale of his ring return and would be the capping of his career in his opinion. Serious fans of wrestling would remember the injury he suffered way back in 2000, against Scott Stiner when he broke his leg. It was earth shaking pain and a long road back but 8 yrs later hes ready to make 1 more splash on the main stream hit maker that is the WWE. Couldnt be happier, a Sid return would create so many more rivilries, possible alliances and down right fun. Sid has grown up alot since being that disgracefull new member to the 4 Horsemen in the NWA and his in ring abilities, although limited would still make for entertaining TV. GL TO SID IF THIS RUMOR IS TRUE!!!!

Randy Orton got into a motorcycle accident, his fault, re-injured his collarbone, will be out for 3 more months at least. Funny part is that i dont even miss him not being on air. Maybe he will revamp his character, do some major weightlifting and get some wrestlers legs like Triple H, and Batista, and maybe just maybe comeback and bit a little less over the top and more of the Randy Orton we knew along time ago before he pulled his kick people in the head thing. IM SO HAPPY HES OUT FOR 3 MORE MONTHS

Do you remember the excitement of the WWE Draft in 2008?  I hope so, since it was only a couple weeks ago, but it is a shame how quickly all that mystique vanished.  On that night, franchise players were drafted to brands you never thought you would see them on, such as "The Voice of RAW" Good Ol' JR moving to Friday Night Smackdown! or former-World Heavyweight champion Rey Mysterio drafted to RAW.  After all the moves were done, both WWE Champion HHH and World Heavyweight champion Edge were on Friday Night Smackdown! facing members of the RAW brand that following Sunday at Night of Champions.

Reasonably, most people expected one or the other to lose his title, and after Edge retained the World championship, those fans thought John Cena was a lock, but surprise, surprise, standing victorious at the end of what I would call Match of the Year, WWE Champion HHH remained the 12-time champion.

Immediately that evening, fans speculated scenarios across the board of what would happen to bring a championship belt to Monday Night RAW.  Obviously, eyes shifted to C. M. Punk as Mr. Money in the Bank, holding a briefcase which would allow him to secure the championship at almost any time, even admist the most opportunistic moments, by simply cashing in his bank.

While the fans rightly assumed that the briefcase would play a role, WWE missed out on a few plausible scenarios that would have made the next several weeks more interesting, instead of just a flash-in-the-pan lightning bolt of excitement which we saw when World champion Edge appeared on Monday Night RAW the night after Night of Champions, and Batista battered him until he was easy pickings for C. M. Punk.  Instead, here is my scenario for the past couple weeks:

The night after Night of Champions, Monday Night RAW begins with Shane McMahon's announcement on the condition of the patriarch, asking for fans to respect their privacy during this difficult period.  From there, Smackdown! General Manager Vickie Guerrero rolls out to the front of the stage to start the RAW broadcast from the Ford Center in Oklahoma City.

VICKIE GUERRERO: "Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen.  Excuse me, please...  EXCUSE ME!  EXCUSE ME, PLEASE!  Ladies and gentlmen, I am here tonight to make a special announcement.  I AM HERE TO MAKE A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!  Ladies and gentlemen, as you know last night, WWE Champion Triple H retained his championship gold for Friday Night Smackdown!  And my fiance Edge retained his ... MY FINANCE EDGE RETAINED HIS WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP FOR FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN!  That means both of the championship belts are on Friday Night Smackdown! and there are no World champions left on RAW.

"EXCUSE ME!  EXCUSE ME, PLEASE!  I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY... I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT AT THE GREAT AMERICAN BASH ... At the Great American Bash, two RAW superstars will have one more opportunity to bring a championship belt back to Monday Night RAW.  Because the WWE Board of Directors have cleared a tag team match pitting two RAW superstars against the WWE Champion Triple H and my finance, the World Heavyweight champion Edge.  Whichever man is pinned in the match will lose his championship belt.  However, if Triple H and Edge are victorious in this match at the Great American Bash, then they will go to SummerSlam and meet each other in a title-for-title, 'Winner Take All' championship match.

"Now, the way we will determine the two RAW superstars to meet Triple H and my fiance Edge will be a short mini-tournament amongst the top four superstars left on the RAW brand.  The first week, they will each face one man.  The next week, they will face a different person.  And the final week, they will face the third opponent.  The men with the two best records in this tournament will then be chosen to compete in this tag match at the Great American Bash.

"Those four superstars are going to be John Cena ... Batista ... JBL ... and Shawn Michaels."

After her announcement, Michael Cole explains that each match will have a 10-minute time-limit, and wins by pinfall or submission will be worth 3 points, wins by disqualification or count-out will be worth 1 point, draws will be worth 2 points, and losses will be worth no points.  The first matches for this evening are John Cena versus Shawn Michaels and JBL versus Batista.  Batista scores a hearty victory over JBL, and John Cena pins Shawn Michaels after interference from Chris Jericho, who is of course peeved to be left out of the competition.

That week on Friday Night Smackdown!, Edge protests the set-up of the match, saying that he and HHH should be wrestling in the "Winner Take All" match at Great American Bash, and what a stupid idea it was to have them team up.  Vickie defends her idea, and Edge snaps back that he never gave her permission to make that match.  Vickie pulls a power card, reminding him that she is the boss, and just like what happened on the 7/4 Smackdown!, they call off the wedding.

The following week on RAW, JBL versus John Cena and Batista versus Shawn Michaels.  Batista wins by count-out when Shawn Michaels chases Chris Jericho out of the arena, and both John Cena and JBL are disqualified.  The scoreboard would have Batista at 4 points, John Cena at 5 points, JBL at 2 points, and HBK at no points.

That week on Smackdown!, Vickie Guerrero and Edge reconcile after HHH turns into the peace maker between the two, and they reschedule the wedding for an unspecified date.  HHH demands that they win and he will do everything he can to help them through the Great American Bash, but after they win, all bets are off and it's straight ahead to SummerSlam.

In the final week, JBL defeats Shawn Michaels after more interference from Chris Jericho, which finally allows them to set a match against each other for Great American Bash, and in the main event, John Cena and Batista wrestle a 10-minute stalemate.  Therefore, John Cena and Batista are the opponents for Edge and HHH.

That week on Smackdown!, Edge reminds Vickie Guerrero that the no-good C. M. Punk threatened to cash-in during their wedding, and he should be neutralized, so Vickie Guerrero makes a match between C. M. Punk and Chavo Guerrero for the Money in the Bank briefcase at Great American Bash.  Later that night, Edge and HHH are placed in competition against Jesse & Festus in the main event, but they make short work of them, and HHH grabs the mic and says that Jesse & Festus are no warm-up for John Cena and Batista in three days, so he makes an impromptu match for them to face Big Show & Mr. Kennedy.  During that match, their team implodes, but they still secure the victory over Mr. Kennedy.

Finally, the Great American Bash is upon us and anything can happen.  C. M. Punk retains his Money in the Bank briefcase over Chavo Guerrero.  The match between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho can go down the same way it will next weekend.  And in the main event, John Cena and Batista fail to win the match as Edge catches John Cena with a low blow from behind the referee's back and HHH's back, and HHH hits the Pedigree for the victory.  After the match, Batista and John Cena trash Edge.  HHH grabs the mic and reminds Edge that all bets are off now, and leaves.  After a Batista Bomb and the FU, C. M. Punk comes down and cashes in on his briefcase to bring the World Heavyweight championship back to RAW.

That puts C. M. Punk where he is today, it puts HHH and Edge where they are today, and it gives John Cena and Batista a little more time on top before WWE started trying to get Punk over.  Plus, it puts the whole Money in the Bank scenario on pay-per-view where a higher-paying audience gets to reap the benefits of the shocker.

Most importantly, it would provide more interesting weekly shows than what we have seen.  It was like we as fans had been watching the shows going along at a regular 55 MPH speed limit, and then the shows started to pick things up to over 100 MPH, and then just dropped back down to 55 speed limit in a matter of seconds.  Yes, it would have been predictable to see John Cena and Batista earn the title shot, but it would have been an ongoing series where the fans could have slowly crept back down to the "usual" speed.

Its no secret that WCW did The Great American Bash better then WWE but it could be said that NWA did it better then WCW, so i dont think i will even start that debate. Heres all im saying, The Great American bash was supposed to be an event in July near the 4th, it was a celebration of our country and was supposed to have a Celebration, almost fan appreciation of an event. I guess in some ways before it was a PPV it was a real event and one of the biggest around and it was a time of joy, big headline matches, rivils coming together for 1 last final match, beginings of new eras, and stamping ones name as a legend, show stopper, headliner, and or ICON!!!! NOW The WWE has taken the RED WHITE AND BLUE out of The GAB and basically made it into WWE's BASH with some kind of car videogame feel to the promo. Already i can see that this PPV will not pay any omage to its origonator, and will not feature events like a Tag Team Title tourny to crown new champions which they did very often with may belts like the US Title, TV title and Tag Belts. It wont even have a real match worth watching like Ric Flair vs Macho Man Randy Savage who headlined the 1995 GAB...They wont push hacksaw Jim Duggan even for a month to let the only real patriot in the locker room enjoy the only true american PPV. Its sad how distant we have come from the past. For christ sake will someone smack vince and tell him he needs new writers????

This is my first blog on here, but definately not my first blog, well anyways let's cut to the chase,I am going to try to be as open as i can not be one-sided beacause is not a shoot, well anyways alot of the time I see WWE only fans that try to act like they know more about wrestling than me,and they invest their time and money into anything WWE just because, but for fans like me that can appriciate ALL good wrestling it takes more than that for me to spend my money on a ppv or a dvd,or on any merchandise for that matter,or even to watch the show,I only watch wwe so i can see some of my favorite superstars compete and that's it,WWE may have the most money but it is the most watered-down form of wrestling today,WWE only cares about what it cares about, let me explain you have TNA which works with other organizations example the world-x cup,and quite frankly WWE is the same old stuff everyweek, you can basically predict who is going to win the matches, and who is going to be champ, same old stuff you have a full roster where only a few superstars shine, you can pretty much say the champions are going to be,Cena,Triple H,Edge,Batsista, anybody else may have short or mid-length reigns,I am sick of seing the same guys as champ, when you have guys like Shelton Benjamin that could out-wrestle Cena on any given day,you have talent that gets the back seat, excellent wrestlers like Carlito who is forced to job and put over people, and don't even get me started on London and Kendrick they are friggin WWE'S Mortor City machine gun's,and they are being held back, why is it that WWE holds back good wrestlers, and pushes guys like John Cena since 02?,he is forced down our throats now,and i know that I am not the only person that is fed up,in TNA you have a show where mabye all the guys aren't used that night, but eventually everbody shines!,you have amazing wrestling, you don't know who's going to be champ, you don't know what's going to happen!,and check out ROH and SHIMMER,I am a guy that also appriciates when they women put on a good match, and not just look good example Beth Phoenix and Mickie James, they are amazing wrestlers they started off indy and worked their butts off to get to where they are, they were lucky but most of the time WWE passes people like them up for models and other women that know nothing about wrestling for instance Maria, wtf!,they have her score a pin-fall over Beth Phoenix?,why is Maria even in the ring?,she should stay backstage and keep doing interviews,Maria gets pushed but,WWE had Trinity and let her go to waste!,back in TNA she did a moonsault off the cage onto three guys!,but WWE wasted her and she gets released from her contract but Maria keeps hers?wtf?!?! how is that even right? Tinity is one of the best, but never even got to shine in wwe, they let her go to waste, wwe should focus on build a women's division of wresters and have the less-talented divas job to the better ones or have them cheat to win as heels, like I siad watch SHIMMER Women atheletes, look them up on youtube if you havn't seen them, and make sure you check out ROH'S youtube page,I'm not saying stop watching WWE,just open your mind give ROH and SHIMMER a chance, nobody said you have to stop watching WWE,but after seing great wrestling you just might want to,am I the only person that doesn't wanna see a match full of clotheslines and chokeholds?am I the only person that likes to see the women put on a good match with good wrestling?,just give other promotions a chance, don't limit yourself to wwe!.anyways let me know what you think people
